More fun with the new camera

I've been wanting to photograph this shrubbery next door since the foggy morning in probably late July or early August when I went out and saw its red tipped leaves with water droplets on them. This is overcast Sunday afternoon, and the leaves look almost purple. Since it was Labor Day weekend, it was in the 60s and rainy or cloudy all weekend, and today, Tuesday when everyone had to go back to work and school, it was partly sunny all morning, and hot and sunny by afternoon.

I ordered some 8x10s of the shrubbery and some glads, to decorate the new house, and I already got prints of the melon shots - those were made with my old camera, and flash, and I feel like I can tell...
