Holiday?

July 4th weekend was something of a bust for me as far as holiday cooking goes. We grilled on Saturday, but we never had a very big crowd.

We didn't make it to the fireworks on the far west side last night - John took an elbow to the head in a basketball game and needed three stitches. After the excitement, we ate leftovers for dinner, and watched repeats of Entourage & Deadwood on cable TV. John went, despite the head injury, so I'll have to find out from him how the show was.

I was nodding off during Entourage, but perked up a bit for Deadwood, and we ate free-form raspberry/nectarine tart and vanilla ice cream.
