Looking towards the lake, you can see the water tower, as well as Water Tower Place, an indoor shopping mall.
I think this is the building that used to be called the Palmolive Building, and the thing on top is the Lindbergh beacon (which is no longer lit). It was tall in 1929, but now is dwarfed by the Hancock building. It seems to be being turned into fancy condos.
