10 pies

Two of my artist friends - Mike Tincher and Cynthia Lapp - got married this weekend, and I made the pies, ten of them. It was a fun wedding, an overnight at Baker Park Reserve, outside of the Twin Cities (actually, not too far outside, since the Twins are sprawling just as bad as my hometown; it was more like in the SUV, strip mall suburbs, you could have got a Starbucks latte less than 10 miles from the campground, but it was a really nice facility, with a lodge and cabins, and you could easily forget about the encroaching suburbs so close by. ) Good food, good friends, great conversation, music and dancing. And pie, for dinner and breakfast.
