Story of my life this summer - 4th of July was Wednesday, and I'm only just getting to writing about it now, on Sunday. We had a potluck, and in true potluck fashion, several made essentially the same thing - I made baked beans, Susan made baked beans.
I made a raspberry-topped cheesecake tart with the rasperries glued on with a plum glaze; Deena made a fruit pizza, with a creem cheese filling and the berries glued on with a peach glaze.
Also in true potluck fashion, everything was delicious and we were too lazy to get out of our lawn chairs to see fireworks after.
